Valencia defender Ricardo Costa believes that Zlatan Ibrahimovic "is the best striker in the world".

Costa could come up against the Paris Saint-Germain forward when Portugal face Sweden in their World Cup playoff fixture on Friday evening.

Ibrahimovic will enter the match in confident form having netted 14 goals in 15 appearances for his French side this season.

"For me, Ibrahimovic is the best striker in the world. He's very physical and great technically," Costa told Efe. "Zlatan's the complete player – so versatile."

Ibrahimovic has netted seven times in his last nine appearances for his country.
