Report: Diego Alves signs new Valencia deal

Brazilian goalkeeper Diego Alves signs a new five-year contract with Valencia.

Diego Alves has signed a new five-year contract with Valencia.

The Brazilian goalkeeper, who moved to Los Che from Almeria in 2011, had previously been linked with a move away from the Spanish outfit.

However, such speculation has now been ended, with the club's official website confirming that fresh terms have been agreed.

Alves will now be contracted to the club until 2019.
