Vinicius Araujo hoping for successful campaign

Brazilian forward Vinicius Araujo vows to score goals for Valencia next season.

Brazilian forward Vinicius Araujo is hopeful that he can make a positive impact for Valencia next season.

The 21-year-old, who joined the Spanish club from Cruzeiro in January, has vowed to "score goals for the fans" in the 2014-15 campaign.

"I really want to play for Valencia and score goals for the fans. Hopefully it will be a good season for me, but most of all, for everyone in the squad," he told reporters at a press conference.

Valencia's summer transfer business has still not taken off despite the presence of wealthy Singaporean businessman Peter Lim.
