Clarence Seedorf says that England is a "great place" for a footballer.

Clarence Seedorf has revealed that he could be on his way to the Premier League following his departure from AC Milan.

The Dutchman has ended his 10-year stay at the San Siro and has been linked with a move to Brazilian side Botafogo.

However, the 36-year-old hinted that he would love the opportunity to play in England.

"Soon people will know where I'm going to play," said Seedorf. "Now I've taken the time to reflect. I'm 36 years old and I feel fine.

"Interestingly I have now received more offers than when I was 26, which made me become fully aware that I can continue playing at least two more years.

"England is a great place for a player."

Seedorf came through the youth ranks at Ajax, making his debut in 1992.
