Ronaldinho seals move to Mexican side Queretaro

Ronaldinho completes his move to Mexican side Queretaro on a two-year deal after the midfielder became a free agent earlier this summer.

Former Brazil and Barcelona midfielder Ronaldinho has completed his move to Mexican side Queretaro on a two-year deal.

The 2005 Ballon d'Or winner has been linked with several clubs throughout the summer including an audacious bid from Conference side Basingstoke Town.

The 34-year-old was without a team after cancelling his contract with Brazilian side Atletico Mineiro earlier this summer.

"We are very pleased to add to our ranks a player who has excelled in international football. A world champion in 2002, World Player of the Year in 2004 and 2005," read a statement on Queretaro's website.

Ronaldinho has won a host of awards and titles throughout his career, including FIFA World Player of the Year twice in both 2004 and 2005.
