Eric Djemba-Djemba completes Indian Super League move

Former Manchester United midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba signs a deal with Indian Super League outfit Chennaiyin FC.

Indian Super League side Chennaiyin FC have confirmed the arrival of Eric Djemba-Djemba.

The 33-year-old Cameroonian has been without a club since he left St Mirren at the end of last season.

However, the former Manchester United midfielder has now returned to the game at Chennaiyin, along with Haitian striker Jean Maurice Edu.

"We are happy to sign Djemba Djemba and Maurice. Both are top players and will add plenty of quality and experience to our team," said the club's player-manager Marco Materazzi.

Djemba-Djemba spent two seasons with United before he joined Aston Villa in 2005.
