Trabzonspor confirm Oscar Cardozo agreement

Trabzonspor have confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Benfica over the transfer of Oscar Cardozo.

The Paraguayan striker had been linked with a switch to West Ham United, but the Turkish side released a statement on their website to indicate that talks were underway between the two sides.

"We have begun negotiations with both Oscar Rene Cardozo and SL Benfica," read the release.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have reportedly rejected an offer from Trabzonspor for defender Kolo Toure.
