Ryan Giggs expresses the importance of Team GB defeating the United Arab Emirates tonight.

Captain Ryan Giggs has described Team GB's encounter against the United Arab Emirates this evening as a "massive match".

Team GB drew their opening fixture of the Olympic Games 1-1 with Senegal last week, meaning that three points against the UAE is required to give them a realistic chance of reaching the quarter-finals.

With that in mind, Giggs has insisted that there is no room for failure at Wembley.

"This is now a massive match because we are going to have to win one of the next two games," Giggs told Sky Sports News. "We saw the UAE play some decent stuff against Uruguay, our last opponents in the group. It is going to be tough but we'll have to do it.

"We were disappointed after the Senegal match, although overall it was a fair result because they had some decent chances.

"After leading 1-0 we weren't able to hang on, which was disappointing."

Giggs is expected to start for GB as part of a four-man midfield.
