Team GB goalkeeper Jack Butland has insisted that Stuart Pearce's side would never "manufacture" a result in order to gain a favourable draw.
Great Britain are in the same half of the draw as favourites Brazil after topping Group A, but the 19-year-old has claimed that the thought of throwing a match would never cross his mind.
"It would never come down to manufacturing a different result to get in a different half of the draw. That would never happen," he told the PA.
Team GB face South Korea in the quarter-finals on Saturday.
