Craig Bellamy remains confident that Team GB can perform well at the Olympics, despite losing 2-0 to Brazil on Friday night.

Craig Bellamy has insisted that he was content with Team GB's performance against Brazil, despite his team falling to a 2-0 defeat.

Goals from Sandro and Neymar proved the difference as Brazil outclassed Team GB, but Bellamy believes that perspective should be drawn from the defeat.

Bellamy said: "We have only been together for 13 days and they have built their team for a year and a half.

"We knew it was going to be a difficult test, but we kept trying to do the right things and we now have six days to prepare for the first game."

Team GB kick off their Olympic campaign with a match against Senegal at Old Trafford on Thursday.
