Sebastian Larsson believes that Sweden were "the better team" against England at Euro 2012.

Sebastian Larsson has said that Sweden were "the better team" against England, despite losing 3-2 to the Three Lions at Euro 2012.

Sweden, who fell behind in the first half, scored twice to go in front after the interval. However, a goal and assist from substitute Theo Walcott allowed England to retake the lead in the last half-hour.

"I think we were the better team but that doesn't matter, England got the points and we are out," he told Goal.com.

"Walcott's goal? Come on, it's a thing that happens once. If he tries it a thousand times he won't score again, that's the truth.

"We were leading in both games after an hour, that's the biggest disappointing thing of them all."

Sweden face France in their final game next week.
