Swansea City captain Ashley Williams has called on the club's fans to continue to support striker Scott Sinclair.
Sinclair has rejected a new contract at the Liberty Stadium and he could be on his way out of the club, but Williams has pleaded with the club's fans to back the 23-year-old.
Williams told the South Wales Evening Post: "He is a Swansea City player so while he has the white shirt on and he is playing for us, he needs the support like we all do.
"I don't think he will get a negative reaction but we just need the fans to support the boys."
Sinclair is expected to feature in Swansea's Premier League opener against Queens Park Rangers this afternoon.
