Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur have shown interest in signing defender Ben Davies.
Recent reports have claimed that the Swans initially agreed an £8m fee with the North London outfit for Davies before pulling out of the deal.
While Jenkins has confirmed Spurs' approach, the South Wales outfit have not received any further interest from their fellow Premier League club, who will be guided by new manager Mauricio Pochettino next season.
"There's a lot of speculation about Ben at the moment, as there is with a lot of players at this time of year," Jenkins told the South Wales Evening Post. "There was an initial interest from Tottenham, but there has been nothing since."
Rumours have emerged suggesting that Liverpool are considering a move for the defender, as well as Wilfried Bony.
