Swansea City are reportedly planning to sign PSV Eindhoven midfielder Otman Bakkal as a replacement for Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Swansea City are reportedly interested in PSV Eindhoven midfielder Otman Bakkal.

The 27-year-old Dutchman was bitten by Luis Suarez in 2010 in an incident which saw the former Ajax striker receive a seven-match ban for his actions.

New Swans boss Michael Laudrup is thought to see Bakkal as a replacement for the Liverpool-bound Gylfi Sigurdsson, according to the Daily Mail.

Bakkal, who joined PSV win 2003, spent last season on loan at fellow Eredivise side Feyenoord.
