Swansea City captain Ashley Williams has insisted that Garry Monk remains the right man to manage the club.
The Swans boss has come under pressure following a run of just one win in 10 games, which has seen speculation mount over his future at the Liberty Stadium.
However, Williams has said that the Welsh outfit must keep faith with 36-year-old Monk, who guided them to an eighth-placed finish last season.
"We back him, of course we back him. I thought about it in the week that we haven't really come out enough and said that we back him," Williams told BBC Sport.
"He knows we back him, we speak to him a lot and he is working as hard, if not harder, because he understands the situation the club is in."
Swansea drew 2-2 with Bournemouth on Saturday.
