Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has insisted that he would be pleased if Cardiff City were promoted to the Premier League.
Cardiff currently set the pace in the Championship and while Jenkins has acknowledged that it would be a tough task to remain at the top of the table throughout the season, he believes that a Cardiff promotion would be "good for Welsh football".
Jenkins said: "The Premier League is the best league in the world and gets the most publicity.
"So Cardiff winning promotion would be good for Welsh football and good for everybody.
"Cardiff have been very unlucky over the last few years and they've been knocking at the door. But to keep that club at the top of the Championship and competing is a difficult task."
Swansea are currently 11th in the Premier League table.
