A report claims that Alan Curtis will take caretaker charge of Swansea City for the weekend trip to Manchester City, with no appointment likely to be made beforehand.

Swansea City reportedly have no intention of naming a new manager prior to their weekend Premier League clash against Manchester City.

It is claimed by Sky Sports News that the Swans will instead by managed by Alan Curtis, who is to return to the club to take caretaker charge at the Etihad.

The Welsh outfit are on the lookout for a new permanent boss after parting company with Garry Monk on Wednesday afternoon following a disappointing run of form in the Premier League.
