Swansea City have won their appeal to have Federico Fernandez's red card rescinded following their defeat to Liverpool in the Capital One Cup.
The 25-year-old was controversially sent off by referee Keith Stroud following a challenge on Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho in the dying minutes of the Reds' late 2-1 win over the Swans in the fourth round of the competition on Tuesday at Anfield.
The defender was facing a three-match ban, but following the Welsh side's successful appeal, Fernandez will be free to play in Saturday's trip to Everton at Goodison Park.
A statement on Swansea's official website read: "The club appealed against the decision with a written statement and video evidence before an FA appeals panel overturned the red card this afternoon."
Swansea are currently sixth in the Premier League table.
