Sunderland have signed defender Anthony Reveillere on a short-term deal that will keep him at the club until the end of the season.
The 34-year-old, who has been training with the Black Cats in recent weeks, could make his debut against Arsenal on the weekend subject to international clearance.
Manager Gus Poyet revealed earlier this week that terms were close to being completed, saying that he has no worries about the Frenchman's lack of fitness.
Reveillere made 18 appearances for Napoli last season, before leaving the Serie A outfit in the summer at the end of his contract.
