Sunderland have reportedly edged closer to signing Swansea City striker Danny Graham after the two clubs agreed a fee.
The 27-year-old, who is thought to have recently expressed a desire to leave the Liberty Stadium, was the subject of a bid, which was accepted by the Swans, from Middlesbrough.
Despite interest from the Championship outfit, it is understood that Graham has rejected the chance to return to his former club in favour of staying in the Premier League.
Sunderland, who have been heavily linked with a swoop for Graham, have agreed a £5m fee for the striker, who is keen to move to the Stadium of Light, according to Sky Sports News.
Reports have claimed that Graham is on his way to the club to complete a medical and discuss terms.
