Sunderland head coach Gus Poyet has claimed that he is considering keeping Ki Sung-Yeung beyond his loan deal.
The midfielder moved to the Stadium of Light on a season-long loan from Swansea City in the summer, but reports have claimed that there is no clause for a permanent transfer in the deal.
"It is still early doors and I don't know how expensive he is, but we will see," the Northern Echo quotes Poyet as saying. "He plays the type of football that I really admire.
"He has the ability to pass the ball with just one touch and change from one side to the other, or run with the ball and have a shot with either foot."
Ki moved to the Swans from Celtic last year.
