Bob Bradley hints at Sunderland interest

Former United States manager Bob Bradley hints that he would be interested in taking charge of Sunderland.

Bob Bradley has hinted that he would be interested in becoming the next manager of Sunderland.

The American, who is currently in charge of Norwegian side Stabaek, has been linked with the role, which is vacant following the departure of Dick Advocaat on Sunday.

Former United States boss Bradley has said that, if he was to take charge of the Premier League strugglers, he would have full confidence in his ability to do the job.

"In a club like Sunderland, there might be a possibility, but there are a lot of managers who wants a job like that. I'm realistic, and realise that the list of candidates is long. At the same time, I'm confident," Norwegian newspaper Budstikka quotes him as saying.

"I believe in myself as a coach. I know that I can enter any scenario, and give everything that I've got."

Former Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson and ex-West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce have also been linked with the post.
