Dick Advocaat has said that he is "not happy at all" with Sunderland's transfer dealings.
The 67-year-old has cast doubts on his future at the club, arriving at a press conference with a piece of paper reading 'do not laugh'.
"I am not happy at all," Advocaat told reporters. "I wasn't intending to say this but I will say this because I don't care.
"If you have the right people in place, and I think they are now here, and you trust them, and you have some resources to do something, knowing what will come in the next three years (increased TV money), I would do it differently, let's say it that way."
It was previously believed that Advocaat had a transfer budget of £50m this summer and £22.5m has been spent on five players so far.
