Huub Stevens given vote of confidence at Stuttgart

Stuttgart coach Huub Stevens is given a vote of confidence by the club's sporting director Robin Dutt, with the Bundesliga team rooted to the bottom of the table.

Stuttgart coach Huub Stevens has been given a vote of confidence by the club's director of sport Robin Dutt.

The Bundesliga outfit remain rooted to the bottom of the table, having been on the end of a resounding 4-0 defeat at the hands of Bayer Leverkusen on Friday.

"We've not taken part in any of the discussions about our coach in recent weeks but have instead always given him our backing, and that is what we will also do in this situation," Dutt told Sky Sports.

Stuttgart have so far collected only 20 points from 25 games this season.
