Thomas Schneider: 'Stuttgart can still improve'

Thomas Schneider wants Stuttgart to improve on their 6-2 win over Hoffenheim.

Stuttgart coach Thomas Schneider has insisted that there is more to come from his side following their 6-2 win over Hoffenheim before the international break.

Schneider said that he spotted several areas that Stuttgart could improve upon ahead of their clash against Hertha Berlin on Friday night.

"There were still things I saw during this game that we have to work on in order to become more successful," he told Bundesliga.com.

"First and foremost, it's important that we work hard off the ball – better than we did against Hoffenheim. Hertha's build-up play is very good and they work very hard."

The result lifted Stuttgart to 14th in the early Bundesliga table.
