Stoke City forward Peter Crouch has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Burnley.
The Clarets have only made one first-team signing ahead of the new Premier League campaign, but boss Sean Dyche is expected to make further additions before August 9.
According to The Sun, the North-West outfit could make a move for Crouch in an attempt to add further options in the final third.
The 37-year-old is currently expected to provide backup to Benik Afobe at Championship outfit Stoke, but manager Gary Rowett is keen to keep the veteran in his first-team squad.
The report claims that Burnley could attempt to sign Crouch - who has less than a year remaining on his contract - for a fee in the region of £500,000.
