Tony Pulis will consider Championship offers

Former Stoke City boss Tony Pulis says that he would consider dropping down to the "right Championship club".

Tony Pulis has insisted that he would drop down to the Championship to continue his managerial career.

The 55-year-old has been out of work since May when he left Stoke City, whom he had previously guided to the Premier League, the final of the FA Cup and the Europa League.

However, despite having spent five years in the top flight, Pulis has revealed that he would have no qualms about dropping down a level should the right club express an interest.

"I want to get back in and I want to get working again, but it's got to be the right club. That's very important for me. It doesn't have to be a Premier League club. If it's the right Championship club then I'll do that," he told talkSPORT.

As well as Stoke, Pulis has also managed Bournemouth, Gillingham, Bristol City, Portsmouth and Plymouth Argyle.
