Bojan Krkic: 'I am ready to start'

Bojan insists that he is ready to play from the start ahead of Stoke City's meeting with Leicester City on Saturday.

Bojan Krkic has insisted that he is ready to return to the Stoke City side in the Premier League.

The former Barcelona forward has made just one start since damaging his knee ligaments in January, but that came in the League Cup against Luton last month and he is yet to be welcomed back to the lineup in the league by Mark Hughes.

However, Bojan claims that he is ready to make an impact as the winless Potters prepare to host Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.

"I don't know when it will be that I can make my first start, but I am ready," the 25-year-old is quoted as saying by the Stoke Sentinel. "I feel really good and I'm training really hard.

"Now I'm just waiting for the gaffer to decide to start me because I feel ready and I can't wait.

"The physical fitness is fine. I need match practice of course, I need minutes in my legs to reach my best form. I'm going to do everything I can to make sure that as I come back I come back better than ever."

Stoke have scored just three goals in five league games this season.
