Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has revealed that the club are still interested in Leandro Damiao and will continue to monitor his progress.
Damiao has been consistently linked with a move to White Hart Lane, with speculation reaching its height during his time in London on Olympic duty with Brazil.
Villas-Boas believes that Spurs will try to sign the striker if he becomes available at the right price.
He told reporters: "There are many good players here, we are happy, but we obviously follow the best players and youngsters and Leandro Damiao fits in the profile.
"Leandro was spectacular at the Olympics but there are other interesting players. We are paying attention to his progress but he had injuries after the Olympics and may not have played that often.
"If he is within our reach, he'll always be in our list."
The 23-year-old plays in his native Brazil for Inernacional and has 14 caps for the Selecao.
