Valencia want to extend Bryan Gil's loan deal from Tottenham Hotspur until the summer of 2023, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur attacker Bryan Gil could reportedly be set to stay at Valencia on loan beyond the end of the 2021-22 season.

The 21-year-old struggled to earn opportunities in Antonio Conte's first XI during the first half of the season and was shipped out on loan to the Mestalla in January, making three appearances in all tournaments so far.

Gil is yet to register a goal or assist for Valencia, but the La Liga club have reportedly been impressed with his opening form and are keen to keep him on the books for a little while longer.

According to Cadena SER - via 90Min - Valencia know that the prospect of a permanent deal for the Spaniard is slim, but they will try to extend his loan deal until the summer of 2023.

The report adds that such an agreement would be a 'win-win' for both sides, with Gil returning to Spurs ahead of the 2023-24 season with more first-team experience under his belt.

The former Sevilla man arrived in North London for £22.5m in the summer of 2021 and boasts one assist from 20 appearances for the Lilywhites in all competitions.
