Tottenham Hotspur have become interested in signing Everton's Brazilian forward Richarlison during the summer transfer window, according to a report.
The 25-year-old was a key figure in the Everton team that narrowly avoided the drop from the Premier League in the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 10 goals and registering five assists in 30 league appearances for the struggling side.
Six of those goals arrived in his final 10 appearances of the season for the Toffees, with his last contribution being the equaliser during the dramatic 3-2 comeback win over Crystal Palace that sealed the Merseyside club's survival.
However, due to Everton's struggles last campaign, it has been rumoured that the Brazil international wishes to leave Goodison Park this summer, and recently revealed whilst on international duty that he has already informed manager Frank Lampard and the club hierarchy of his intentions ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
Now according to The Athletic, Spurs have emerged as a contender to acquire Richarlison's signature this summer, who report that Antonio Conte's side are interested in making a move in the coming weeks.
Although, the report suggests that no offer has been made to Everton yet, with a move depending on what Spurs view as being the right price for the forward.
Everton would supposedly be seeking a fee in excess of the previously reported €60m (£51m) figure, but that many within the club accept that they would be unable to demand such an amount.
Since making the move from Watford for around £40m back in July 2018, Richarlison has gone on to score 43 goals for the club in 135 Premier League appearances.
