Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly entered talks with Lyon over the potential transfer of midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
Spurs have tabled a bid of €40m (£34m) for the 21-year-old Frenchman, according to L'Equipe.
Lyon, however, are said to be holding out for a fee of €60m (£52m) and a number of other clubs have been tipped to enter the running for Ndombele's services.
The report goes on to say that Chelsea could challenge Spurs for the youngster's signature if N'Golo Kante moves elsewhere this summer.
Ndombele has earned nine caps for France Under-21s.
