Report: Watford looking at Paulinho

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Paulinho is a transfer target for Watford, according to a report.

Watford are reportedly interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Paulinho.

The Brazil international struggled to hold down a regular first-team spot under Mauricio Pochettino last season and has been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane.

Watford have made one signing since earning promotion to the Premier League, with Austria defender Sebastian Prodl joining the Hornets on a five-year deal.

Paulinho, who signed for Spurs in 2013, is contracted to the North London side until 2018.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Watford have contacted the 26-year-old's agent to discuss a possible move to Vicarage Road.

Paulinho played 15 times in the Premier League last season.
