Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly told Real Madrid that they will have to break the transfer record if they wish to sign Christian Eriksen.
The Danish playmaker is believed to be back on Real's list of targets following the managerial return of Zinedine Zidane earlier this week.
Eriksen was wanted by Zidane during his first spell in charge at the Bernabeu between 2016 and 2018 and, according to the Daily Star, the Spanish giants are readying a fresh approach for the summer window.
Despite the 27-year-old allegedly turning down three separate contract offers, leaving him with just 15 months to run on his existing deal, Spurs still value him at £200m.
Real would therefore have to surpass the £198m sum handed over by Paris Saint-Germain to sign Neymar from Barcelona in August 2017.
The report indicates that Barca have shown an interest in Eriksen, but the Ajax academy product will only consider a switch to dethroned European champions Real Madrid.
