Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly not made a fresh move for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar ahead of Monday evening's transfer deadline.
Inter confirmed last week that offers have been tabled for the Slovakia international, who is also a rumoured target for Tottenham's London rivals Fulham.
However, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio also stated that Skriniar will not be leaving the club in the closing stages of the window, despite seemingly falling out of favour at San Siro.
According to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Spurs have not stepped forward with a new bid for the 25-year-old since Ausilio made his public comments.
Tottenham have already made six signings this summer, most recently snapping up striker Carlos Vinicius on an initial loan deal from Benfica.
Jose Mourinho's men thrashed Manchester United 6-1 on Sunday to move up to sixth in the embryonic Premier League table.
