Moussa Dembele has reportedly decided to try to leave Tottenham Hotspur on a loan basis during the January transfer window.
The 26-year-old joined Spurs from London rivals Fulham in 2012 and became a key part of Andre Villas-Boas's side, but so far this term he has failed to hold down a regular place in the starting lineup.
Having helped Belgium to qualify for next year's World Cup, it is believed that the midfielder is eager to ensure that he will be part of the squad in Brazil.
As a result, he will inform Villas-Boas that he would like a temporary move away from White Hart Lane, which has alerted the likes of Southampton, Aston Villa and Newcastle United, according to The People.
However, the report added that Spurs would be very reluctant about parting with Dembele in case they receive injuries to other squad members.
Tottenham paid Fulham £15m for Dembele's services.
