Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente refuses to rule out the possibility of him joining an English club in the future.

Spain's Fernando Llorente has fuelled speculation that he is ready to sign for an English club in the near future.

The Athletic Bilbao striker has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.

Discussing the possibility of a switch to England, the 27-year-old admitted that talks with his international colleagues have whetted his appetite.

"I might end up playing in England, who knows? At the moment I'm at Athletic Bilbao, but who knows later?" Llorente told reporters,

"Xabi Alonso and Fernando Torres have told me about the immense respect that the fans have for their players there."

Llorente scored 17 league goals for Bilbao last season.
