Franck Kessie reportedly rejected offers from Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur to agree a contract with Barcelona.
The midfielder's deal at AC Milan is due to expire this summer, and there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future in recent months.
Barcelona are now believed to have agreed a deal with the Ivory Coast international, though, with the 25-year-old said to have already undergone a medical at the club.
According to El Nacional, PSG and Spurs both offered Kessie lucrative contracts, while Real Madrid were also desperate to sign him, but the Ivorian was only interested in moving to Camp Nou.
The report claims that the project at Barcelona appealed more to the midfielder, with the Catalan outfit seemingly moving in the right direction once again under the leadership of Xavi.
Kessie has again been a key player for Milan during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring six times and registering one assist in 30 appearances, including five goals in 23 Serie A outings.
