Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Everton.
The Wales international has enjoyed a relatively productive campaign on loan at Tottenham Hotspur, scoring 16 goals from 30 appearances in all competitions.
Despite having one year remaining on his contract at the Bernabeu, the 31-year-old is unlikely to return to the first-team squad with Zinedine Zidane in charge.
According to Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda, Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti wants to capitalise on the situation by offering Bale a move to Goodison Park.
Speaking on El Chiringuito, Inda claimed that Ancelotti wants to secure a reunion with a player that he has previously worked with at Real.
The Spanish giants may be prepared to negotiate a deal for Bale as they look to get his wages off their outgoings before next season.
