West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino unfollows the Baggies on Twitter, days after the club reject an official transfer request amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur.

West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino has opted to unfollow the Baggies on Twitter as reports continue to link him with a potential move to Tottenham Hotspur.

Earlier this week, Berahino had an official transfer request rejected by the West Midlands outfit after Spurs were reported to have lodged a bid for his signature.

Another offer, in the region of £21m, is also said to have been turned down, leading to the England Under-21 international to unfollow his own side on the social media website.

Berahino was left out of the West Brom side which edged past Port Vale in the League Cup on Tuesday night.
