Tottenham Hotspur defender Sebastien Bassong has revealed that he will clarify his future before the start of next season.
The 25-year-old joined Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan in January, and he has admitted that he is keen to secure regular football.
"I will be speaking to the gaffer at the beginning of the pre-season - we all need a holiday. I was playing week-in and week-out at Wolves and personally, it was something I really enjoyed, being part of the game," he told Sky Sports News.
"So now, I have to speak to him and find a solution. I have two years left on my contract, so it's not a matter of urgency.
"We will look for something that both parties are happy with, and if I have to stay at Tottenham, I will be delighted too because I love this team. However, if I have to find a way out I will deal with it - that's football. But ultimately, I want to be playing football, I've tasted it for the last three months and feel I deserve it."
Bassong has 15 Cameroonian caps to his name.
