Barcelona are reportedly lining up a shock move for Tottenham Hotspur's Tanguy Ndombele.
The Frenchman has struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League since his record-breaking £65m move from Lyon last summer, registering two goals and two assists in 19 appearances.
Spurs manager Jose Mourinho has let it be known that he expects more from Ndombele in the future, although England's top flight is currently on hold amid the coronavirus pandemic.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Mourinho's vocal criticism could lead the midfielder to seek pastures new elsewhere, and Barca reportedly hold an interest in the former Lyon man.
The report also claims that while La Blaugrana are prioritising a striker, they have identified Ndombele as an ideal replacement for Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic, with both midfielders facing an uncertain future at Camp Nou.
Ndombele's current deal with the Lilywhites will expire in 2025.
