Gareth Bale arrives in Spain ahead of Real Madrid move

Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale arrives in Spain ahead of a potential move to Real Madrid.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale has arrived in Spain ahead of a potential move to Real Madrid.

The 24-year-old was photographed by Spanish newspaper AS after he touched down at a private airport in Malaga on Saturday lunchtime, giving a clear indication that his well-documented move to Real Madrid could be close to completion.

It is being reported that the transfer could be sealed within the next 48 hours, with a medical expected to take place on Monday.

A fee in excess of £85m has been suggested for the Welsh international, with Madrid full-back Fabio Coentrao potentially moving in the opposite direction.
