Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti refuses to discuss speculation linking the club with a move for Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has refused to discuss speculation linking the club with Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale.

The 24-year-old Welshman is thought to be Madrid's top transfer target this summer.

"I am happy with the squad and I don't want to talk about other players out of respect for those who are here," Ancelotti is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

Bale scored 26 goals in all competitions for Spurs last season.
