Mateta or Nketiah? How Palace could line up against Spurs

Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Crystal Palace could line up for Sunday's Premier League London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.

Crystal Palace head coach Oliver Glasner is facing a crucial decision up front for Sunday's Premier League London derby against Tottenham Hotspur at Selhurst Park.

The Eagles boss has sided with Eddie Nketiah over Jean-Philippe Mateta for their last two matches against Liverpool and Nottingham Forest, both of which saw Palace fall to 1-0 defeats.

It has now been 12 months since Nketiah last managed a goal in the Premier League - having 30 shots without success since then - but the ex-Arsenal man has nevertheless been a nuisance in the final third and may get the nod again.

Nketiah's supporting cast should once again be made up of Daichi Kamada and Eberechi Eze, although Ismaila Sarr is an option to replace the former, while Daniel Munoz and Tyrick Mitchell are indispensable out wide.

Adam Wharton was an unused substitute in Monday's loss to Nottingham Forest after his recent injury, but the England international should now be in contention to come back in for Will Hughes alongside Jefferson Lerma.

However, Glasner should give no thought to altering the backline of Maxence Lacroix, Trevoh Chalobah and Marc Guehi in front of Dean Henderson, although the latter did not cover himself in glory for Chris Wood's winner on Monday.

Chadi Riad (knee), Chris Richards (thigh), Cheick Doucoure (toe) and Matheus Franca (groin) are sidelined for the Eagles, while Rob Holding remains in exile following his falling out with Glasner.

Crystal Palace possible starting lineup:
Henderson; Lacroix, Chalobah, Guehi; Munoz, Wharton, Lerma, Mitchell; Kamada, Nketiah, Eze
