Paris Saint-Germain reportedly place Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino as their number one target to replace Unai Emery.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly emerged as Paris Saint-Germain's number one target to replace Unai Emery.

The French outfit are flying high in Ligue 1 with a 14-point advantage at the top of the standings, but doubts have risen over Emery's future.

The speculation comes due to PSG's last-16 exit from the Champions League, in which they were beaten 5-2 on aggregate by Real Madrid.

According to RMC, the French giants are considering sacking Emery before the end of the season, but they understand that Pochettino is unlikely to leave Spurs during the campaign.

The report claims that PSG would be willing to wait until the summer to make a move for the Argentine.
