Mauricio Pochettino backs Harry Kane to reach 30-goal mark

Mauricio Pochettino throws down the gauntlet to Spurs hitman Harry Kane to net 30 goals this season after reaching 20 recently.

Mauricio Pochettino has challenged in-form Tottenham Hotspur hitman Harry Kane to mark his first full season with the club by reaching the 30-goal barrier.

The 21-year-old netted a brace in Saturday's 3-0 rout of West Bromwich Albion to bring his total for the season to 20 in all competitions.

"Has he exceeded expectations already? No, because I never put a ceiling on any player," the Argentine is quoted as saying by The Express.

"If he scores 20, why not 30? I never put the target to my players. If you have potential and can improve it is only up to you."

10 of the youngster's haul this season have come in the Premier League.
