Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino admits that he is perplexed as to why his side have been shown four yellow cards for diving this season.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that he is perplexed as to why his side have received so many yellow cards for diving this season.

Son Heung-min became the fourth Spurs player to be cautioned for simulation so far in 2018-19 during today's 3-1 win over Leicester City, with referee Michael Oliver ruling that he had thrown himself to the ground in an effort to win a penalty.

Pochettino was infuriated by the decision and suggested that his side have been unfairly treated by the officials at times this term.

When questioned about the Son incident after the game, Pochettino told reporters: "Unbelievable. Unbelievable. When you compare the situation to the penalty against us - unbelievable. The situation with Liverpool in the last minute which should have been a penalty, and it was the same referee. But I do not know how he measured the situation.

"I am a person who always accepts the mistakes, but it was so strange today because it was so clear. I think now I am more relaxed because we won the game, but of course I'm so disappointed with this situation.

"I don't want to talk about other clubs or players, but do you think that we are a team trying to cheat the referee? We are one of the more honest teams. I don't understand why [we have had four players booked for diving] because we are nice people."

Davinson Sanchez, Christian Eriksen and Son scored the goals as Spurs chalked up a fourth successive Premier League win.
