Everton boss Roberto Martinez plays down the significance of his side's visit to Tottenham Hotspur.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has played down the significance of his side's visit to Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon.

The Blues travel to White Hart Lane with both sides eyeing a fourth-place finish in the Premier League.

He told Sky Sports News: "We're very clear in what we want to do and that is over the next 14 games.

"It's not just about today, it's about our focus over the next 14 games. That's the big thing and it is going to exciting to see how many points we can get from those games. It's huge.

"Spurs are an enthusiastic side who play with freedom and confidence and we'll have to cope."

Martinez's side are currently fifth in the league table.
