William Gallas insists that Tottenham will recover from Saturday's 5-2 defeat to local rivals Arsenal.

Tottenham Hotspur defender William Gallas has insisted that the team will bounce back from Saturday's 5-2 humiliation at the hands of Arsenal.

Spurs looked to be in control at the Emirates Stadium before Emmanuel Adebayor's sending-off was followed by a collapse from the visitors.

The defeat has stretched the side's winless streak in the Premier League to three matches.

"It's true the confidence can be low but we will be okay," said Gallas. "We have a target, we have to keep working in training. Work, work, work and it will come."

Tottenham return to Europa League duties on Thursday when they travel to face Lazio.
